Javier Machuca, CPA, CGFM Javier Machuca, a Manager in the Meyners + Company Audit Department, has a wide range of knowledge in the governmental and not-for-profit sectors. As Audit Manager, he is responsible for managing audit engagements and has direct responsibility for planning, supervising, and completing audits. Prior to joining Meyners + Company in August 2001, Javier was a Controller with an Albuquerque construction company. He has had auditing experience in both public and private accounting since 1995 and held accounting positions with other local CPA firms. Javier received a Bachelor’s of Accountancy degree from New Mexico State University, is a New Mexico Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Governmental Financial Manager. He serves as a committee member to the Albuquerque Youth Rugby Union. He is also a member of the AICPA and the NMSCPA. Back
