Gilbert T. Kometa, MBA, CGFM Gilbert is a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM). Gilbert currently works with the New Mexico Public Education Department as a financial coordinator supervisor, at the Audit and Accounting Bureau. Prior to joining the Public Education Department, he worked with an international software company in many different positions in the Accounting bureau, the Implementation bureau, the Systems Integrations Unit and Quality Assurance bureau. His positions have included: supervisor; implementation specialist lead; system accountant; business consultant; system integration specialist; and assistant quality assurance manager. Gilbert is a member of the Albuquerque Chapter of the Association of Government Accounts. He received a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Banking and Finance from the University of Buea, Cameroon and a Masters of Business Administration from the New Mexico Highland University. Back
